I Have Had Extreme Pain In Right Shoulder That Rolls

I have had extreme pain in right shoulder that rolls down to my elbow. I went for check up a few months ago as I was concerned about rotary cuff due to repetition. Dr. said not that, but probably repetition pain. Pain has worsened and I am limited to lifting. What would you suggest and if rotar cuff, what is surgery procedure and time due away from work
