I Have Had Foot Pain For The Last Week. It

I have had foot pain for the last week. it hurts when i walk or move it a certain way and is swollen by the end of the day. It feels like my bones are separating when i walk on it, if that makes any sense. Also is very sore to touch along the outer side and top. The bottom of my foot doesn't hurt. i can't remember twisting it or anything. Should i see a foot doctor or orthopedist?
