I Have Had For Many Years What Is Advised As

I have had for many years what is advised as Otitis Externa however having been treated with Ciproxin HC drops which nearly fixed the problem , unknowingly I was prescribed a Qinolone based tablet which within 10 minutes had my wife calling Paramedics as I had passed out and on arrival of Paramedics I had 'come to'' slightly however blood pressure was zero and after first Adreneline ?? injection blood pressure only rose to 33 over something so 2nd injection given before being transferred to Emergency and therefor am unable to use quite a large range of ear Rx and after patch testing am allergic to all sorts of things generally used in ear infections.
Ear issues continue however two days ago prescribed Keflex [ trade name] and vast improvement .
Question is I have read re a Staphylococus aureus can develop , is this particular infection liable to clear up with Keflex.
