I Have Had Hip Bursitis For 2 Years Now And

I have had hip bursitis for 2 years now and nothing works. I had one cortisone shot in both hips but the pain was still there. I Took Prednisone a few weeks ago for a month. I felt so great, no pain for a month then stopped it. I do not want to be on tha medication forever. Any other treatments? How about removal of the bursa?
