I Have Had Hpv 16 Low Grade For 5 Years,

I have had hpv 16 low grade for 5 years, i have had the cone and 2 laser treatments. I want a hystrectomy but my doctor is hesitant. He says its possible for it to spread...a 5% chance. Im so confused,he wants to continue this course of treatment . Is it dangerouse to let a persistant low grade infection persist? Its a vicious cycle, pap with low grade changes then a repeat pap in 6 months low grade changes now a coposcopy followed by laser treatment, pap again in 6 months. Im confused, and dont know if i should push for the hystrectomy or continue on with this cycle? Also at what point is this no longer a viable option. He said my cervix is flat, i almost have no cervix, he cant tell where the cerxix ends and the vaginal wall begin....any ideas
