I Have Had Intense Lower Stomach Pain On And Off

I have had intense lower stomach pain on and off for months. It feels like really bad gas but nothing helps alleviate the problem. I'm on day 4 now of it coming and going and right now its pretty bad. It wakes me up in the middle of the night. I've tried Gas Ex, peppermint tea, ExLax to get things moving (which they have). I don't know what to do.
