Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had mild asthma in the past, but I don't know if that is what I have now. I have an ongoing cough and sometimes this is accompanied by wheezing, but not all the time. I do have GERDS and take Pantoloc daily. My chest feels tight and has a burning sensation and I feel sick to my stomach frequently every day. I have been told I require gall bladder surgery - I do not have stones, but there is a thickening of the wall of the gall bladder and sludge shows up on an ultra sound. I am not scheduled for surgery for six weeks and wondered if you might make a suggestion that would help me to feel better. I did go to the Emergency dept and was given morphine for pain. I am not comfortable taking narcotics and so far haven't taken any. I would appreciate any advice you may offer.
