I Have Had My Period For 2 Weeks Now. The

I have had my period for 2 weeks now. The past 4 days have been heavy clots soaking a tampon & pad within an hour - I just passed a clot that covered the drain in the bathtub & have pain similar to labor pains. I am 51 years old & 167 lbs. I called my family dr who can see me mid April & a gynecologist who can see me the 1st week of May should I be concerned?
