I Have Had Not Swelling Of Not On My Legs

I have had not swelling of not on my legs they are painful and swollen. I am steroid dependent for Addison's disease. The swelling is not painful I have had blood work done and EKG. They did a sonogram . This sound and The sonogram did not show any clots. My doctor said it could be because I am steroid dependent. I hav I have no idea what kind of doctor I need to see now. The swelling this with the swelling is painful but maybe it's just my age. Any ideas on what would cause the not on swelling. Thank you
