I Have Had Optical (ocular) Migraines For Some Years. I

I have had optical (ocular) migraines for some years. I have no pain and the aura varies ... sometimes one eye or the other and sometimes both eyes. I can go months without an attack, have even avoided them for twelve months or more but then, like yesterday, I can get two attacks in the same day. I have spoken with two doctors. One just shrugged and the other prescribed an asprin/paracetamol and a rest with eyes closed. I am now wondering whether this condition is serious and will it cause a stroke. I will be 79 this month.
