I Have Had Pain In My Lower Abdomen For A

I have had pain in my lower abdomen for a while, I am 67 years old. I get a lot of gas no matter what types of food I eat although some foods such as tomato sauce and gravies make it worse. When I have a bowl movement which are regular I actually start coughing very heavily during as if I am choking. I am in good health little high blood pressure, taking metoprophol and cholesterol medicine simvastatin. Other that that no real problems.
