I Have Had Pain In My Right Hip For Over
I have had pain in my right hip for over a year. Had a cortasone shot but it helped only for a day or 2.Had 12 sessins of PT to stretch the muscle. Didn,t work.
Finnally had an MRI There is a cystic change in the superior acetabulum. Osteophyte formation is noted
both along the acetabujlum as well as the femoral head, findings in feeping with degenerative joint disease.
Thye gluteus maximus tendon appears intact. There is some edema along the gluteus medius and minimum tendons without evidence of a tear or muscle atrophy Findings are likely related to tendinopathy.
Doctor suggested try another cortrisone shot . Your oppion , please. Nsaids don't work.
I have Multple Myeloma but was told I had no bone leisons.
Then I noticed in the report the was bone marrow signalnormality within the visualized lower lumbar and pelvic bones suggestive of hematopoietic bone marrow expansion. I am presently on Chemo once a week .
