I Have Had Pain On One Side Of My Head

I have had pain on one side of my head on and off, had a nasty virus just before Xmas. I have severe anaemia needing transfusion last year, am on iron tablets. I have under active thyroid and high blood pressure both controlled. I wondered if too much iron could make me dizzy. Trying to avoid another a/p as I had 3 small operations for skin cancer last year. I also had 2 ops on a badly broken leg after accident. Need a break from doctor visits. Just need advice ... Should I go for ally check up. Thank you
