I Have Had Pain On The Left Side Of My

I have had pain on the left side of my shoulder and neck going on 3 weeks now it is going down my arm but stops before my elbow. Ibuprofen and doans pills are not working anymore. It hurts more while sitting or lying on my side but standing is ok. Should I be concerned? I am tired of the constant pain and don't know what else to do.
