I Have Had Pain That Started In My Shoulder Blade

I have had pain that started in my shoulder blade 7 weeks ago, listless and a general feeling of illness. The pain got progressively worse affecting nerves under my arms pit across my breast. Some edema which has lessened. I have tried painkillers from paracetamol to nsaids, codeine and latterly amytriptyline. Some relief in pain. Blood count normal. Visit to orthopaedic dept showed no trauma or mechanical difficulty. I also developed one small red patch on the lower side of my breast (5mm). I have been prescribed antibiotics and antivirals for herpes zoster which made little improvement. I am thinking of seeking advice from a specialist breast clinic or neurologist. Do you this this is herpes zoster without a rash or does it require further investigation?
