I Have Had Prescription For Adder All For Few Years.

I have had prescription for adder all for few years. I think someone from work stole my remaining pills for the month. I asked my doctor what I should do and I was told he will no longer prescribe this for me because it was my fault for being careless. I just started a new job and I rely on this medicine very much in order to remain organized and focused. Will I be able to have another Dr. Write a script for me or no?
