I Have Had Serval Nerve Blocks That Did Not Last

I have had serval nerve blocks that did not last so in September of 2015 my doctor burn them into after 3 weeks I was pain free. Lately I am hurting from my about L4 n L5 down both legs burning, stinging and just pain. Bad that brings tears to my eyes..how long was this supposed to last!
