I Have Had Strong Cramps All This Week And It

I have had strong cramps all this week and it started a little bit the end of last week. I skipped a period for September and October. I recently this week have brown discharge. I took a pregnancy test twice a couple weeks ago it was negative. I have had a history of pcos but recently got a blood test to see what's going on. I don't have the results yet. What may be the problem?
