I Have Had Symptoms F A Cold But No Pain

I have had symptoms f a cold but no pain or sneezing the major symptom is I have been coughing up phlegm for over a week. It is mostly clear and am wondering if it is effecting my lungs as it has been going on so long. This is the only symptom I have.
