I Have Had Symptoms Of A Cold Changing Every Now

I have had symptoms of a cold changing every now and then.First week ,I had a congested nose.I took septrin and celestamine.When I was done with the dosage,i was left with this weird infrequent cough.After a 8 days,i went to the chemist and they advised me to take zithromycyn,cetrizin and ascoril.The cough stopped for a while but when it came back,i would have this infrequent cough fits ,like thrice or four times a day that would leave me breathless.I would feel a heavy along my windpipe and some weird mild discomfort around my left breast with some really mild pain.I got concerned so after a week of the previous dosage,i went to see a doctor.The doctor diagnosed me with respiratory infection and prescribed clavulin,sabultamol,actified cough syrup and celestamine.After taking the medicine,the breathlessness after coughs went away but I still have infrequent coughs.This was all happening during the warm season.Now it is been two months and I still have an infrequent cough and sometimes I feel the heaviness in my wind pipe and pain around my breast.Help me please
