I Have Had The Birth Control In My Arm For

I have had the birth control in my arm for 9 weeks. It was not bad at first, i have been bleeding for 4 weeks now. Its bright red and very heavy. Its very annoying. I can not go to the doctor due to insurence issues. Any idea on how long this will happen and is it normal??
