I Have Had This Happen A Few Winters In A

I have had this happen a few winters in a row now. I have a cut on the inside of my nostril, septum side. The first time this happened, I waited about a week and went to see a physician. He diagnosed it as impetigo and cauterized both sides. I have now had a cut on the inside of my right nostril for almost three weeks. I have been treating it with Vaseline and antibacterial ointment to hopefully help with the pain. Nothing seems to be working. I need advice.
