I Have Had This Little Bump Below My Right Knee

I have had this little bump below my right knee for a year now, it is very sensitive, say I bumped it on a table, it will hurt way more then it should. I am concerned. It's very painful, if I have if bent for too long I also feel pain. What is it? It feels like a bone.
