I Have Had This Semi Dry Cough For The Last

I have had this semi dry cough for the last 10 weeks, I have suffered bronchitis in the past (2002). this cough seems different and begins with a rawness in the region of the larynx and the feeling extends along one side of the tongue (left or right) and then the dry cough spasm starts with eventually a small spot of white flem. the coughing spasm could be considered wracking and lasts around 30 seconds to a minute. I obtain relief taking "fisherman friends" lozenges or cough medicine from over the counter. I am feeling run down and weak and have recently found the need to rest in bed.
