I Have Hard Dry Cough That Will Not Go Away.

I have hard dry cough that will not go away. I'm fine 85% of the time, but when I get the dry tickle in my throat, I cough very hard for about 5 minutes. This is hurting my chest and my sides. This has been going on for 3 months now. I feel like it could be something more serious, but hope not. I came down with bad allergies this past April - pollen was extremely high. This was the first time that I had any allergy symptoms and I was coughing all night. I went to the Baycare Urgent Care and then also to Walgreens clinic, which is Florida Hospital staff and both said it was allergies and prescribed Flonase along with saline nasal spray and cough medicine. Then my right ear filled up with fluid and I was incapacitated for 5 days. That finally went away but the sinus and cough did not go away. I went to Walgreens clinic again and the PA diagnosed me with bronchitis. I could go on and on. I would like to know what type of doctor should i see for this. I would like to get xrays of my chest and lungs and neck from all the coughing - i feel like it is damaging something. Please let me know. Thank you!
