I Have Heart Failure And Then COPD But I Have

I have heart failure and then COPD but I have never smoked in my life or been around smokers, so I have looked for other reasons also my sister has COPD again a no smoker. Father had bad bronchitis all my life he was a smoker but stopped when I was a small child. I have had a DNA test thinking that it would show that I do not t he protein that protects the lung's but I do have the protein! So now I am lost what is the cause of mine and my sister copd
