I Have Herniated Disks L4,l5, And S1. The Recommendation Is

I have herniated disks l4,l5, and s1. The recommendation is fusion. I have an active lifestyle although it is being greatly impacted by unrelenting pain that travels down my legs alternatively. I currently take 2 10/325 Vicodin, 800 ib profens (3 daily), and Selma at night to sleep. I feel this is effecting my ability to urinate and have a solid erection. Is this a side effects of these drugs? And will an epidural help with this? This will be my 8th or 9th shot.
