I Have High Blood Pressure. Just Went Thru 2 Head

I have high blood pressure. Just went thru 2 head surgery for stroke. It was 2 months ago. To day the doctor change my medication with Lisinopril and a lot less Metropolol. my blood pressure go as high as 186. after taking extra metropolol12.5 mg more. the BP come down to 126, but I feel a little sting on my head, not intermittent and only1. Do I have to be concern? Go scan my head again?
