I Have High Blood Pressure Which Has Successfully Been Kept

I have high blood pressure which has successfully been kept under control with Lisnopril 40mg. I am on other medications as well. My pressure has risen to unacceptable levels. It is being charted. I saw my Dr on Wed and since I am on the maximum of Lisinopril he introduced 5mg of Amlodipine Besylate. This is the 2nd night I have taken it as prescribed. I am having side effects of hyperness, inability to sleep and tingling in chin and arm. I have the same reaction to drugs like Benedryl and decongestants which I avoid. I will not continue this drug however I want to know what other drugs which can be used that will not give me these side effects?
