I Have High Bp. Lisiniprl Always Worked For Me In

I have high bp. Lisiniprl always worked for me in the word and my blood pressure but I developed a very bad cough and I had to stop. Dr. put me on Irbesartan/hctz which lowered it somewhat but not as much as the lisinopril. Then I went on Humana and had to do mail order. The pills they sent me looked different and they do not work. My BP is 150/105. Why would this happen it is the same medicine? Isn't there something else I can take besides the linisipril since this is the only bp med that worked. I also take metaprolol andhave been for quite some time
