I Have High Liver Enzymes And My Doctor Is Keeping

I have high liver enzymes and my doctor is keeping up on it by sending me for blood test .But I am feeling so sickish I have no energy and bad cramps in my legs and feet .I am also nauseated at times .Is this normal with aliver that is not working properly .I donot drink and have never drank and I am 78 years old I als had my gull bladder removed 2yrs. ago and I went septic could this be related
