I Have Hip Pain That When You Touch It, It

I have hip pain that when you touch it, it feels like a big bruise. I had a wreck in 2013 that resulted in chronic sacroiliitis. I have also fallen since then. Should I have it xrayed ? It does cause pain to walk or go up steps.
I see I have to pay for answer, I have no insurance, no money because I cant work, thanks for your time.
