I Have Irregular Period Sometimes No Period Sometimes Long Period..Oct

I have irregular period sometimes no period sometimes long period..Oct 23 I got period only spotting after a week its prolonged so I visit an OB Nov 7 diagnosed me PCOS and my lining was so thick.. She gave me dydrogesterone then I change pad almost 2hours until now I have menstruation Nov 20..she told me its normal..but I'm worried... Can I stop taking dydrogesterone?? Thanks..
