I Have Irritable Bowel And Have Had Severe Pain With

I have irritable bowel and have had severe pain with chills, sweating and light headedness twice.
I am taking several medicines that seem to help at times.
I also have hemorrhoids. I have been experiencing bleeding with bowel movements.
I am healthy, active and not over weight.
Is this a sign of something worse than bleeding hemorrhoids?
