I Have Just Been Diagnosed With AFIB. My Doctor Said

I have just been diagnosed with AFIB. My doctor said I have to take the meds she has me on, Eliquis, Furosemide, Carvedilol plus 1 asperin per day. After beginning these meds, I swelled up like a toad frog. . my feet and legs, face, stomach all over. . especially my feet and legs (look like "tree trunks"). I've asked isn't there an alternative medicine that will keep me from having a stroke without all the side effects? My doctor doesn't seem to have found the right kind yet. Thanks!
