I Have Just Been Prescribed Omeprazole 20 Mg Capsule For

I have just been prescribed omeprazole 20 mg capsule for stomach problems. I will also be having further tests.
My question is can I removed the beads, melt them then digest them. Reason being I have short bowel colostomy with a complicated peristomal hernia, I am very concerned with the slow release process due to not having fully functional small bowel as well as issues with significant concern with the capsule potentially causing a blockage at my hernia cite. My doctor prescribed a liquid suspension, however none my local pharmacies are able to get them,nor did any mention a powder form. I am in a great deal of discomfort.
My question is, it acceptable to melt the beads and drink the liquid since presently my Rx is for a capsule and not a powder.
