I Have Just Been Told That I Have Ovarian Cancer

I have just been told that I have ovarian cancer and it is also in my lymch nodes does this mean it is advanced? I have fluid in the lining fat layer of my stomache which they are going to drain to make me more comfortable. on weds I go the florida hospital for examination by a gyn cancer doctor. I am very worried and feel that it has spread to my other organs. how long is the recovery time after surgery and what is the average length of chemo. I have already been advised it will be necessary.
also I understand that a knowledge of my dyn markers could help to decide what kind of chemo would be best. thank for taking time for me. Pw
