I Have Just Experienced Blurred Vision In My Left Eye

I have just experienced blurred vision in my left eye and real serious dizziness that I even had to hold on to my couch to get my balance back. I sat down but my left eye was still somewhat blurred especially when I moved my head from side to side. I am a diabetic, on medication only. did I just experience a stroke or diabetic stroke or a mini stroke. I feel ok now, but sure could use a sleep. cant sleep rite now as I have so much to do.
