I Have Just Had A Hard Bowel Movement And Started

I have just had a hard bowel movement and started bleeding from my vagina. I am about 6 days away from my period. I usually experience this bleeding just before my period comes however it's a little early for that. The bleeding has gone away however, I am continuing to spot which usually happens about 3-4 days before my expected period.
What could this be?
