I Have Just Had A Procedure Where They Used Anesthesia

I have just had a procedure where they used anesthesia and put a tube down my throat. Now it feels like there is a piece of skin hanging at the very back of my throat. When I cough it feels like it is coming up, but never does. What do you think it is?
