I Have Just Had An Event Of High Blood Pressure,

I have just had an event of high blood pressure, 176 / 107, and my cardiologist prescribed Bystollic and Benicar HCT,, they are the latest and most expensive on the market, are there lower cost alternatives to these new meds that could work just as well, I am not ready to forever sign up for the most expensive solution as I turn 65 next month. why would we not try others to start?
