I Have Just Received My First All-clear From The Surgeon

I have just received my first all-clear from the surgeon following laser ablation of tongue cancer two months ago. Have only conducted MRIs of head and neck, and ultrasound imaging tests so far. How may I ensure the cancer has not metastasised to other parts of the body?
