I Have Just Recently Recovered From Having Mono And Have

I have just recently recovered from having mono and have noticed that the skin on my fingers and toes have been peeling for about 2 weeks now. I haven't seen a doctor yet for the peeling but I think it may be a reaction to some anti-biotics that the doctor gave me when I went in for mono. He gave me the anti-biotics because he thought it was strep throat at first but then told it was mono. What is the cause for the peeling?
