I Have Just Taken Methylpredisolone Tabs 4 Mg For Deteriorated

I have just taken Methylpredisolone Tabs 4 mg for deteriorated neck vertabrae. It worked very well. The pain doctor said I should not have another pack for two months, my PCP said I probably shhoild not have any more for a year. He is an ingternal med . doctor. What is the frequency that I can use another dose? I am 86 yrs old and in great shape except for the veratabrae in my neck
