I Have Knee Pain When Standing Up After Sitting And

I have knee pain when standing up after sitting and difficulty walking the first few steps, after a few steps, I can walk. This has just happened recently. I don't remember any injuries and I'm a very healthy senior. When I was young I had cheer leading knee injuries occasionally, but they always got better by themselves. What would you say is my problem.?
