I Have Learned That I Have A Septated Ovarian Cyst

I have learned that I have a septated ovarian cyst that is 5cm maximum dimension. This was diagnosed on Dec 4, and doubled in size on the follow-up u/s Jan. 11. I've been referred to gynecologist with appt. on Feb. 23 but I'm having a lot of pain... Not like it has burst (had that happen in 1999) but burning, stabbing pain that comes and goes but is increasing in frequency and pain level. Do you think I should be seen in ER or wait until my gyn appointment?
