I Have Left Shoulder Pain. Just Sitting Here, It Is

I have left shoulder pain. just sitting here, it is not hurting. When I start to move , it hurts the feeling is like you have been hit in the upper arm you know like when someone is just fooling with you and walks up to you and hits you in the upper arm. Do I make sense?
