I Have Lots Of Pain From Arthritis, In My Thumb

I have lots of pain from arthritis, in my thumb joints and two artificial knees and lower back arthritis. So my friend told me to try an altram and I never heard of it. I have a tiny white oval pill on one side it has : 93. on the other side it has 58. Is this safe to take for pain?
