I Have Lower Side Pain In My Lower Back That

I have lower side pain in my lower back that resembles a sunburn with tingling in the flesh. It's been hurting for four days now. It's extremely painful. I thought it could be shingles but I don't have a sore. There is fever in the area. The area is about as big as a softball.
