I have macroproteinuria the level is 10 times normal! (300 rather than 30) I am also obese and have been having a very difficult time losing weight. I recently switched health care plans and also Drs. My new MD told me part of my problem in losing weight is the fact I'm on Glimiperide and suggested a switch to Metforman. is that safe?bc
